Healthcare HR Leaders Gather in Music City – Nashville, TN
Last week, Healthcare HR Leaders from across the United States gathered in Music City – Nashville, TN for a taste of true southern hospitality at the Lowes Vanderbilt Hotel. Both evenings of the event were filled with great live music, delicious local cuisine, and wonderful opportunities for attendees to network. Whether it was over whisky tasting, posing in the 360-degree spinning photo booth, or making their own Tennessee style spice rub to take home and share with family and friends, attendees enjoyed deeper connection and sharing at the intimate event.
During the day, attendees were also found busy diving into informative and productive business meetings, taking in thought leadership sessions, enjoying robust panel discussions, and engaging in various think tank and roundtable conversations.
A range of relevant topic areas were discussed that touched on the critical aspects of healthcare for HR Leaders today, such as:
Shifting Workforce Needs and Priorities in Healthcare
Industry leaders explored the importance of building an employee focused people strategy and responding to rapidly changing workforce needs and wants. Executives were encouraged to rethink the traditional parameters and expectations of working hours and locations, as well as to consider the importance of their wellness, wellbeing, and safety programs.
Attracting and Retaining Talent
Participants gained insights into utilizing AI recruiting technologies, building a compelling employee value proposition, creating talent pipelines, and advancing an integrated approach to DEIB to drive better business outcomes in attracting and retaining high-quality talent in a very competitive marketplace.
Organizational Culture and Developing Resilience in Leaders
The event highlighted the evolving role of leaders in healthcare and the importance of building a culture of resilience in driving future success. Participants heard from leading executives on the importance of building a foundation for sustainable organizational transformation and sustaining culture through integrations and times of change.
