Alexandra Tillo, Talent Strategy Advisor at Indeed, will present on the strategic approach of skills-first hiring – focusing on essential skills for a job rather than traditional credentials, which may not always be the best indicators of success. This approach enables employers to attract top talent in today's market.
Following the presentation, a roundtable discussion will give participants the opportunity to share their insights, exchange tips and identify the best practices and strategies for building an effective and efficient recruitment process.

She has worked and partnered with countless companies to resolve complex challenges through sound strategies and smart tool utilization in order to improve both employer and candidate experience, and adapt to the evolving labour market.
As a Talent Strategy Advisor for Indeed Canada, Alexandra (Alex) Tillo supports HR and TA leaders in large Canadian organizations, offering best practices, thought leadership and data analysis. Originally from France, but based in Toronto for over a decade, she is fluently bilingual and has a deep understanding of the Canadian hiring market. With Indeed for over 7 years, Alex has worked in various sales positions with national accounts before transitioning to Marketing last year. For most of her career, she has worked hand-in-hand with clients to address their concerns and adds her field expertise to the data she now presents. On a personal level, she loves to travel and is a white wine expert.
